Trying to replicate functionality in the dash cluster proves frustrating. Little things like the LED arrangement for the TEMS modes. There are only two modes on the console mounted TEMS switch. The third mode is calculated based on operating factors in the car, and it is only reported through these lights.

As fun as these things are, the electronic dash will likely not make it to production.

Various attempts to mount three seven inch touch screens are shown below.There are also a couple of panels that were made out of steel. The car is currently going back together with an OEM dash and the car’s original odometer.

Once the car is running the Speeduino will be introduced. Then we will think about dash again. At my usual pace on these things… it’s not going to happen.
